Now is the time for new beginnings, new projects, new paths. Consider the garden of your creative self and plant some seeds. The “could have/should have/would have” will not grow. They are the pictures on the seed packets–representations only. Be brave and begin. Happy gardening!

“It is the job that is never started that takes longest to finish.”
~ J.R.R. Tolkien
Some of the plastic curlers from yesterday have been transformed into something much more attractive. I know a little princess who could use these to organize her hair baubles. All glue, no thread on this project.
The idea comes from the current issue of Better Homes and Gardens Quilts and More. Actually, that project is for a Petite Pincushion. I got a little distracted and haven’t made those yet. Finding the hacksaw and a sharp blade was my deterrent. Or is that, my excuse? In any event, this is what has become of some of those raw materials of yesterday.
Trying new methods, materials or projects is a good way to jump start creativity. You may find your inner child has a fascination with unusual things. You may even be able to lure them out to play. And who knows what might happen then!
