The lovely and talented Jennifer Paganelli has a new collection, Poodle. (Named after her dog–don’t you love that?!) I’ve been pondering a few half yard pieces for a couple weeks but have been unable to decide on just the right project. This collection has a different feel than some of her previous collections, although it is most definitely Sis Boom. I knew I wanted to showcase the Tanya design. But how? And in what form?
In the end I chose this large bag. You’ve seen it here in a different incarnation. And if you follow Sew Pretty Dresses you’ve seen the one I made Ms. Jenny. I love this bag because it is roomy with simple lines. Perfect for large scale prints. And for extra large trim like this jumbo rick rack which I’ve been waiting forever to use. (Okay, maybe not forever but for months.) Marie Madeline Studios still has some in stock. And they have Poodle too.
I started this as a gift. But now it’s completed, I really don’t think I can part with it. I discovered it will hold skeins and skeins of yarn along with a crochet work in progress. Generously sized and just as beautiful on the inside.
Thank you, Jennifer, for all the love you put into your collections. You make it easy to create beauty.
