I think it would make a great presentation for a place setting on a special occasion–say a bridal shower or baby shower, even a tea for a few special people. Or put together a tray to highlight your favorite fabric so you can enjoy it all summer long.

I know what you mean about those stripes. Now wouldn’t that be quite the party–each place setting with its own zebra tray!

So cute, love this idea as a gift. Most likely a silly question and I missed something but there is not mention of where the quilting cotton belongs…I am guessing immediately below the fabric so it is the cotton that adheres to the wood and then the hard coat modge podge on top of fabric seals it all in place?
