With cool days and chilly nights, I’ve been in the mood for yarn. In the past, I’ve made a couple granny stripe blankets, a shell afghan, a granny square throw and some loom knitted afghans. This time, I wanted something different. I decided on a sampler type of blanket–something I can make up as I go along. I’ve limited myself to cream, gray, navy, teal, berry and grape. I’m using Red Heart’s Soft yarn with a size J crochet hook for this project. I like the way it’s coming together so far. It’s a bit subdued but it makes a nice change. But it isn’t only crochet hooks seeing use around here, I also finished knitting a pair of wrist warmers recently. Along with an infinity cowl. I guess I’m ready for winter weather!
