The whirlwind of designing and sewing samples has finally died down. (Knock on wood.) It’s time for me to relax and enjoy the everyday things. Like quiet, leisurely cups of coffee outside with Stinka. And deciding on vegetables for the planting bed and decorative plants for the front yard. And of course, dreaming about more fabric projects.Free Spirit sent me some of Anna Maria Horner’s Halo (wide quilt backing) in Glisten. Doesn’t it look lovely with that little Dresden plate in her Mod Corsage range? If you’re still on the fence about this collection, don’t wait too long to decide. These are going to go quickly. Tula Pink’s Chipper is waiting for some pre-cut fun as well. The colors are lively and the designs are everything you would expect from Tula. I especially love the reappearance of a fox.But whimsy isn’t for everyone, I know. You’ll be glad to see the geometric prints are just as stunning. Especially the stripes.Great fussy cutting potential. A few more cups of coffee and some thinking time could yield some exciting results. I’ll keep you posted. Have a great week!
