Everyone seems to have fun projects in the works. I’m no exception. My cutting table currently has some secret stuff on it. My sewing table is loaded to the gills with fabric that needs to be organized. My design “wall” has a crib size quilt with large patchwork hexies. And my desktop is filled with files for possible quilt patterns. If you have stacks of fabric but don’t know what to make, here’s an idea for you. Remember this happy little tote bag? I made this for Spring Quilt Market 2015 in Jane’s Enchanted. You can now find the directions for this bag in the latest issue of Generation Q.I made another version for myself to keep. You can see it makes a great little project bag. The assembly is very straightforward and goes together quickly.
If you want to make one for yourself, head over and grab yourself a copy of the Summer issue from my friends at Quilt Home. There’s a great feature on Alex Anderson and several quilt patterns in the issue too.
