Happy Monday! November is nearly halfway done–which means the holidays are approaching. Yikes! If you’re doing handmade gifts this year, try to keep things manageable and don’t kill yourself with overreaching ambitions. Choose simple patterns and let the fabric transform it into something special and unique. For instance, I made my Note Pad Holder in two different versions. They come together quickly and don’t take a lot of fabric. They hold 5″ x 8″ note pads. Or if you prefer, Jenean Morrison‘s pocket notebook or pocket coloring books. (I got mine on Amazon. Just type in “jenean morrison” and you’ll see all her goodies.)You’ll start to see Tina Givens’ Rose Water in shops next month. With easy projects, you just might have time to whip up some last minute gifts. I like this mix of blue/gold/gray/green. But if pink is your thing, there’s plenty of that to choose from as well.Have fun planning and putting items on your Wish List.
