The last of the Market samples, finally. Finally! That’s exactly how I felt when I got these two bags shipped off directly to Market. These are both made in Denyse Schmidt’s Ansonia collection.I used Coats & Clark’s Phoomph to make the three dimensional embellishment. Yo yos would have been too cutesy for this bag, so I opted for something a bit more tailored. Just two circles of different sizes, one with an initial fused onto it–easy peasy. The second bag has a patchwork flair. The pieced and quilted exterior gives the bag a little body. For both bags, I used a single print to create a “ribbon” to sew along the divide between the top and bottom. This little trick gives you the opportunity to add yet another print to the mix.I had a little help with the photography. Stinka was just waiting for me to set that bag down. She couldn’t quite figure out how to make it work, but she did give it her best shot.
And that’s the end of the posts about Market samples. Phew! Of course, as you might suspect, I have other things in the works. More on those later. Right now, I’m going to sit back with a cup of coffee and think about what comes next. Like a giveaway or two.
