The absence of warm temperatures means extra time to spend on things like yarn projects. Once summer gets here, I will not be inclined to spend time crocheting. And because I enjoyed the Baby Ripple Afghan so much, I’ve started two more. Each of these will be throw size. Wind and Water got its start last night while watching North Face–which involved a few frogging episodes due to crocheting while trying to read the subtitles.
Earth and Fire is a hot and spicy color combination. More warm colors on the way for this one.
And then there’s the project that cannot be done under the influence of too much caffeine. Under no circumstances do I allow myself to work with this tiny hook and thread unless my hands are steady. It is too frustrating otherwise. Can you tell I had to learn the hard way? Ripping out a whole round of tiny stitches is not an enjoyable part of the process.
What projects have you begun under the New Moon?
