Surprisingly, a lot of productivity occurred around here over the weekend. Lots of blue. I know, I said I needed more orange. And I’m working on that, really. But when inspiration hits…you better go with it. Or else.
Another Flirty Half Apron will be in the shop shortly. Sis Boom fabrics make this quite feminine and girly. (The lighting isn’t great today so you will have to imagine that Caribbean Blue as more lively.) Jennifer has another line coming out very soon called So. St. Croix which promises to be an exciting collection. Click on the link to see swatches.
Stay warm everyone. Tomorrow Punxsutawney Phil will be giving us his take on the future of our weather. Let’s hope he decides to do a little perambulating and not more hibernating.
At the moment the light in the kitchen is all wrong for photos, but you get the idea. I’ve been working on new kitchen curtains this afternoon. The valances are finished. Simple straight panels on a tension rod using Jane’s Sunshine and Shadows–couldn’t be easier. Or more stunning. When the light comes through the greens, it is quite amazing.
Tomorrow I will get better pictures. Maybe I’ll get a chance to finish up the bottom panels by then too. Cross your fingers.
