Time just keeps flying by, doesn’t it? We’re halfway through July already. It doesn’t seem real. Progress on the outdoor space here at Casa P is coming along though, and that’s a good thing. However, it means far less sewing and crafting on the weekends. But not to worry, I’m making up for it with this free pattern. Click on the picture to load the pdf file or find it under Freebies. You’ll also find it over at WeLoveFrenchKnots along with an interview I did with Bari J, whose kind words just made my day. Happy stitching!
Happy Fourth to all my readers in the States! Hope your holiday is fun and safe. Just wanted to share a little piece of news with you today. Sew It All magazine’s 4th issue is out now and you can find two of my projects inside.A reversible grilling apron and travel laundry bags are in the issue. The travel laundry bag pattern can be found for free at Sew It All’s website here. And both projects will be offered as kits at Quilt and Sew Shop. (SNK1207, SNK1205 and SNK1206)
Don’t forget, Thursday at midnight (PST) is the deadline for commenting to win a copy of Generation Q. And on Monday I’ll be posting for Jane Sassaman’s blog book tour and there will be a chance for US addressees to win a copy.
Time for another no-sew project! I’ve been anxiously waiting to share this one with you. Mod Podge + fabric = too much fun!
Head to Free Spirit’s blog for my easy tutorial for both the tray and the tag. I think it would make a great presentation for a place setting on a special occasion–say a bridal shower or baby shower, even a tea for a few special people. Or put together a tray to highlight your favorite fabric so you can enjoy it all summer long.
