Looking for a quick gift for a hostess? Mother’s Day present? Bridal shower gift? Or maybe you just want something for your own home. The wrapped cord trivet is a simple project and an easy way to add something special to your table. You may recall I posted about them here.
By way of encouraging you to try these for yourself, there is a new free tutorial. With pictures. In a slideshow format. Fancy! Just go down the left hand column under Freebies and click on the Wrapped Trivet Pictorial Tutorial.
Note to those unfamiliar with Slideshows or Power Point: To view it in Fullscreen, which means it takes up your whole monitor, just click on “Fullscreen” (in blue). To get back to your web browser, just hit “Esc” (that button on at the top left corner of your keyboard). Use the arrow keys to navigate through the slides.
The trivet in the picture is made with Jennifer Paganelli’s Sis Boom fabrics. The large colorful print makes for an interesting design in the finished product. These are an excellent way to share your favorite designer’s fabric with family and friends.
Have fun creating! And send pictures of your finished trivets. I would love to see them!
