Hello there! Last week went by in a blur. I’d meant to post more Hotel Fredericksted last week but time got away from me. So, let’s catch up on that now, shall we? This is the backside of this quilt. Rather than piece the strips to gain that extra 6″ on the one side, I used a light blue solid. Once the quilting was done and the quilt was bound, I added the yo yo’s. When you don’t know what to do for a pieced back, these simple rows are a great answer. If you don’t follow my 100 Billion Stars Facebook page, you may have missed this little table mat. You can find a link to a pdf project sheet by hopping over to Sis Boom. Scroll to the bottom of the post and you’ll see the link. While I was working on this one, I also threw together an improv table mat. The scraps were still clamoring for attention, so I whipped up a few key chains. They found homes immediately with some of my nieces. You’ll be able to find Hotel Fredericksted in stores next month. Just in time for your holiday Wish List.
Don’t forget it’s my turn on the Kaffe Artisan blog tour this Friday. See you then!
