Happy Monday! Did you enjoy a pleasant weekend? We had some lovely Southern California winter weather–just warm enough with some sun. Forecasters predict rain off and on this week, so a bit of sun to recharge is always welcome.
Today I’m sharing my first Hello, Love project–my Pocket Tote pattern (a freebie on MakeItCoats website) done in the red colorway of Heather Bailey’s Hello, Love collection. This tote is just big enough for the basics and sews up quickly. But my favorite thing about this pattern is how easy it is to highlight fussy cut designs. The outer pocket panels are great for displaying your favorite prints. Heather’s Norwegian Wood print is the perfect candidate for this application. And the lining is a good opportunity to add a little zing. Like I did with the Pop Star print.Hello, Love will start shipping to stores next month, so get your list ready.
The winners of Jennifer Paganelli’s Hotel Fredericksted were chosen over the weekend and the winners have been notified by email. Congratulations to Cynthia Meredith and Anna Brown! There will be more chances to win fabric later this month and next, so stay tuned!
