My weather complaints of last week have been answered with a continuation of this crazy heatwave. So much for the weathermen and their computer forecast models. Temperatures 15 to 20 degrees above average are making it hard on everyone–humans, animals, plants. We even had a hawk visit the fountain yesterday.
The one project I really wanted to work on this month is my AMH EPP quilting. However, this is not the weather for hand quilting. It will have to wait just a little while longer. In the meantime….I’ll be playing with this happy stack of PamKitty fabrics. Pam sent me some fabric and I’ll return it to her in a different form. There are at least two bags here. Maybe a bit of EPP. The ideas are forming, which fortunately, can happen despite heat and humidity.
Later this week, I’ll have a fun project bag to share with you in Nel’s Orient. I think you’ll like it. It’s easy and practical. Who doesn’t love that?
For now, I’m going to sit with a glass of iced coffee and wait out another hot day.
