Thought you might like to see this little twist on the Note Pad Holder. The pattern gives you instructions to make an angled flap on the holder. However, if you use a plate, a CD, a french curve–anything curved really–you can round the edges of the flap for a softer look.
Just be sure that the curve is the same on each side. After sewing the flap, clip the seam. That’s all it takes.
Of course, you may find that one change is not enough. Get ready to audition various buttons and decorations to add extra panache. For this Note Pad Holder I used Sis Boom fabrics and clipped the shank off a button before gluing it to the snap. You can never go wrong adding sparkle and bling to Sis Boom. Ever.
