I originally posted about it here. One thing I like about this quilt is the fussy cutting. It really changes the feel of the print. By separating the design elements with a solid sashing, I have given them space to shine. The print lends itself to other types of fussy cutting too. Stack ‘n’ Whack or hexagon flowers would suit it perfectly.
Because pink and yellow are so predominant, I added the pieced border using all the prints in the collection. For me, it adds a bit of relief albeit in a slightly chaotic fashion. A lot of happy energy in this quilt.
