This Pine Burr quilt measures 63 inches by 73 inches, making these blocks about 12 1/2 inches square. All those folded pieces whirling around the center of each block is quite amazing. And the variety of fabrics, while hard to distinguish in the photograph, is extensive–plaid, florals, stripes, dots and solids make up the mix. This quilt seems to blend together from a distance but there are bright reds, blacks, greens and yellows that really pop when you get close.
