Inspired by Lucy at Attic 24, a Ripple Afghan has started to form . See her pattern here. I love this pattern because it is a very easy pattern to work. The gentle ripples remind me of garden rows. An image I have further enhanced by using these garden colors–mud brown, new growth green, pollen yellow, leafy green and flowering pink. (And yes, those are my designations and not what the package says. But really, so much better than Dye Lot #344, don’t you think?)
When you have a few moments, go visit Lucy. Recently, she posted some very fun caravan pictures and links. (For us Americans, that would be campers and camping trailers.) Oh the memories! I’m not sure I should share mine here on the blog. Guilty parties to protect and all that. Suffice it to say, we never enjoyed a VW van with that kind of style or those amenities when I was growing up. Still….plenty of memories.
Take some time for creativity this weekend! And make some memories–with or without a caravan.
