Everything was going smoothly. I finished my coffee, put some music on, got out some fabric, auditioned a few pieces for another project and cut and prepped everything for sewing. And then this happened!
I don’t have the heart to move him. He’s old and depressed and a storm is on the way. But, dang it! How am I supposed to sew with all that fur sitting there ready for transference? Maybe he’s drawn to the zebra print. Or maybe he just knows he’s in the way and is hoping for some lap time.
Whatever the reason, I think it may be my excuse to take a break and read some more of Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger. I’m loving this book so far. Ghosts and graveyards. A deceased aunt who’s living was made buying and selling rare books. So much to like in this story.
