I never intended to be away from the blog this long. Stuff happens though. Sometimes it isn’t even dramatic stuff. Interest and interaction on blogs is down. There are so many things vying for our attention it can be hard to choose where to spend those precious moments of free time. It’s certainly a lot easier to scroll through Instagram and still keep up with what people are doing and sharing. It’s a snippet, but it’s easy for our short attention spans to grasp. I totally get it.
I don’t know that I’m ready to jump back into regular blogging at this point. But it was time to move my website to a different platform and that meant making some decisions. I’ve migrated my domain to Squarespaces. This meant deciding what to do about all the old content. I made the choice not to import all the old posts.
Instead, I’ve set up the site to serve as a resource. My free patterns are frequently downloaded so I’ve chosen the most popular and included pages for their downloadable pdf files. If you’re looking for an old pattern and don’t see it listed, just contact me through the Contact page and I’ll get the file to you.
There are many photos of older projects on the Inspiration page for you to scroll through. For the most part, those are inspiration only and patterns do not exist for them. But if you’re looking for eye candy, that’s a great place to land.
